I know a lot of people feel as though taking photos in a moment detracts from it, but I typically will shoot just a few photos if I'm feeling really good or happy and then live in the moment, later I make sure the photos are somewhere backed up and I have never regretted a single photo I've taken when I look back on them. They bring back and remind me of the good times, I think the problem is the mentality people have when they document their lives. I don't document for social media or for 24 hour snippets, I document for myself and my memories.

I've been having a hard time with relationships lately. That's why I feel much more lonely than usual, especially after overcoming social fears that have ruled my whole life. Not knowing how to communicate with people, make new friends, or just maintain existing relationships is stressful enough for me. Despite all this, I feel much better thanks to these red wine conversations; as if I were the one who talks to you and exchanges ideas. It means a lot. Thank you Damon, for being you and doing what you love. I admire that.

Fred talking about comparisons, he's so right. When I didn't have access to the internet, to other people's lives, I was so much more content with who I was and what i already had. Now seeing other people who have "more"... it has a way of making you feel "lesser than" when that's not the case. And even if you do lack in areas where they exceed, you still have things that make you worthy and great too. Literally just be yourself. Everyone is great in their own way. Already knew this, but it's so easy to forget.

“You can’t argue with time.” I FELT THAT! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I think we all fall under the thought that we aren’t following the “timeline” of life. Everyone has their own path and their own timeline and doing things later in life than someone else, is not a bad thing. There is no use in envying a person’s place in life when that same person may envy a part of your life. It’s a vicious cycle. Focus on your own goals, aspiration, and ambitions, and trust that you will get there.

Damon’s the man. Love these kind of conversations and it’s cool to see it being spoken about so candidly. He’s able to share his stories in an entertaining way but they’re also topics that we can reflect on. Love the content bro
@katrinaamistad28964 жыл бұрын
I appreciate people creating new content even if it has been done before because some content can be tailored to a general audience, but the idea/concepts can be explained in new ways that appeal to different people who have different learning or entertainment preferences. Just like in school we have different teachers who teach the same curriculum, but students still have independent preferences on who they learn most from.

I have a say about the being in the moment and documenting thing. I used to do just that, documenting and forgetting but then i decided that, whenever i want to remember something i’ll take a picture of a monument or the sky etc. therefore whenever i want to remember my time i’ll only need to look at the said picture to remember the whole trip. Sometimes its fun to be the only person to see a certain chapter
