We had go 4 brick course down for head heights was nightmare having to bucket it out an got a grand for york that was in ares lol

may i ask you 2 questions, 1. if i fit a basement drainage channel does it have to go into a sump, or, could i just pipe into an existing drain and let gravity take the water away? 2. ive dug the concrete floor up and im replacing the floor with new dpm, does the excess dpm at the bottom of the wall go behind or infront of the cavity wall membrane im putting up? thankyou.

It’s hard to comment without seeing your job. If the drain is inside your basement you have to think what would happen if the drains back up. This is why we fit a sump & pump to take out the water up onto street level.
