This show is *really* good. The critics aren't lying. Damson Idris carries this show in season 1. By season 2 episode 2, the whole series just takes off. It's only 10 episode seasons, if you haven't seen it, yet, you're missing out. Snowfall has the potential to be up there with all of the great shows in TV history. It's very well written. If you make it to season 2 episode 2, the rest of season 2 you'll just see what I mean.

His accent is WAY better than Idris Elba's, because Idris is using a standand New York accent for the Baltimore streets when Baltimore has it's own very distinctive accent... Damson is using an LA accent for a LA role... it's brilliant.... Without knowing you would think he was actually from LA because many time Americans don't even use and perfect regional accents in their acting roles....
