OMG! No! I'm a 60 Y/O Sista:) and I am so shocked! and hurt to say the least. I became a V-1 in 2009, I just happened to hit the dial 96.7 by accident and heard Danny, Corby and Mike on the Hardline, and I've been hooked every since. It's only got better, when I heard the Musers, Norm and Donnie, then BAD radio. I love you all, and thought the "Hang Zone" pairing with you two worked out perfectly. I listen almost everyday, and this week I was wondering what the heck is going on!!! Now I know. I can't tell you how much you will be missed. So smart, funny, and "woke" lol..Seriously, I'm a minister, and I pray that God will bless you all and your families, even in the midst of uncertainty. You both are so talented, I have no doubt that better things are coming. Stay Hard!

In my opinion, the best show The Ticket ever pulled off was Bob and Dan with Jake before Bob moved to The Hardline. Still love Bob, but glad his move allowed Jake more time to shine. I will miss Dan and Jake so much. Seriously wrecked that you guys won’t be a part of my everyday, at least not for a while. I will do my best to follow you guys wherever you go. Just some thoughts: it fucking sucks that Dan put so much work into digitizing and archiving all the history of BaD radio and The Hangzone, and now that IP cannot be used in their next endeavor. Also, if they get a new show somewhere else, I fear it won’t feel the same without Blake and the rest of the crew. Lastly, the ticket that now exists is no longer the same station I grew up with and loved. Sad to see the end of an era. I’ll likely be deleting my app, and won’t be listening anymore unless I happen to be in the car when the Musers are on (I work from home)… My dad died a year ago this month and theTicket was one of our only lasting connections throughout my life. It was already weird for me listening to the station this past year having no one to talk to about it…looks like it will all just be limited to the stuff of memories for me now, along with my dad

Talk about a shock to the system. Dan & Jake’s departure from The Ticket is heartbreaking and devastating. The Hang Zone unexpectedly supplanted both The Musers and The Hardline as my favorite listening experience not only on The Ticket but in life in general among the bevy of podcasts I listen to in addition to The Ticket. No hyperbole… I feel what Dan & Jake do is truly unique and remarkable and a gift to broadcast radio. I also will sorely miss not only the chemistry they developed with each other but with Blake as well-they helped Blake come into his own and I appreciate the way Blake helped bring out the best in D & J with his reverence for their unique qualities, insight, humor, and quirks. This sux This sux This sux This sux. Please tell me Alamo High-T movie nights will still be a thing. I live in Austin and have long wanted to make a trip up for a movie night thinking I’d have plenty of time to do so.

In my opinion, the decision to break up bad radio will go down as the worst decision ticket management ever made. A lot of these dominoes might not have fell if not for that. Before the app ever existed. I scheduled my lunch for 12:10 everyday. As soon as the app came around the ticket got 13 hours of listening from me. From the moment bad radio split, I started listening less and less. It wasn't that the product was still good, but I always found myself bummed out about bad radio being gone. If any radio station or podcast or video sharing company could give me that back, there would be no amount of money I wouldn't pay to have access. "I just miss my friends."

I was shocked when BaD Radio broke up but knew Dan & Jake had a chance at being entertaining. It was even better than what existed before. Right now, I just don't listen to anything from noon-3. I started listening to The Ticket full time, not just the weekends, since Day one of BaD Radio. I personally got to meet, Bob, Dan, and Donavan on a few road shows. Sad to see Dan leaving and the Hangzone is no more. Everyone that was there on day one of the Hangzone is no more 😢.

Another parting note. If I was the ticket, as a last ditch effort, I'd try the following. Take Sturm, tell him to stop trying to be cool entertainment Sturm and go back to being a sports obsessed nerd and put him in Norm's old slot. Drop Dave Lane and put Corby and Donnie together in the afternoon. And let the young bucks battle it out for noon to three. Not saying it will work, but it's the best option with what's left.

I hate this. I really hate this. BaD Radio was my favorite show on The Ticket. And The Hang Zone filled that role perfectly. No other show on The Ticket has been stop down appointment listening for me like sweet clean Noon to Three. For what it’s worth, just know I’ll be watching or listening to whatever it is you do next.
