This film is pure Zen. Its a portrait of someone whose virtues extend beyond the self. Its a story about a unique spirit who is clearly a deep thinker and who has immense dignity. As an inquiry into the meaning of life, Dan Atherton's story eludes peace and harmony through the simple balance of nature. I was at "Red Bull Hardline" yesterday with hundreds of others. One man made this happen. Dan Atherton. He is a creative genius and whilst mountain biking is not a religion it's spirited congregation can say that here is a man of deep integrity who dares to be original and different. More power to him and his family. Friends and I were building MTB trails in the Shrewsbury hills in the 70's similar to the one by Corris. Now, like most people, were part of the machine.... I am reminded by this film that life is for living and for giving. Great work Dan. Great Film.

The only section I would want to see altered or changed / improved would be at 16:49 you can see how his front tire dipped into a crevass and then there's a 45 degree rick surface that almost kicked out the front wheel.. That section looks like an injury just waiting to happen! Other than that, amazing track with stellar lines! Congrats guys, and gals! Cheers from Canada!

in my country this is impossible, i was born to dig jumps but here it's extremely illegal to build anything in the forest and there are no mountains where i live. my life is shitty in this way, but still, i build some very nice tracks in old overgrown quarries and desolate forests, THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY.

halfpipefreak you would be surprised where you can build trails. You want a spot rule number 1 don't tell anyone except for your mate your digging with. I dig alone my own set. Keep it low key no cutting down trees. Work with the land she had alot to offer
