That Aiyuk pass that hit the defender’s head wouldn’t have counted as an interception if he did catch it. He was called for pass interference before the ball arrived.

And the majority of lions fans agreed with the calls. the amount of times in the past that the defense doesn’t hold up, or the kick is missed and they lose cuz of it. That’s the whole reason they started throwing it in the offenses hands. I get it if it’s a guaranteed 3 but it isn’t. And I get it’s the nfc championship. But 2 plays 4th and 1 I like the odds with one of the leagues best offenses. Just unfortunate the plays weren’t made.

This game wasn’t on Dan. Sure in a minuscule way you could say oh 3 points. But they were up by 21 and you can’t fumble at your 25 and drop 3 passes to kill drives against a top ranked team.

I know you don’t watch full lions games but they are here cuz of that play calling. they beat the chiefs, chargers, raiders and Vikings off the same type of call but they got it. It’s a backup kicker and 47 yarders aren’t guaranteed. Dan would rather go out trusting the offense to get 1 yard, then the trash D to get a stop, or a potential missed kick. Lions are here because of their offense and weird play calls. The call was fine, if Reynolds catches it they prolly go up 21. The 2nd time as well, just bad execution today. But at least they went out giving the offense a shot to convert on what they have been doing so well this year. Lots of mistakes, doesn’t come down to these calls.
