Lee said he's working on it on his instagram, they're on tour right now
@ZachBelcher949 жыл бұрын
+MiCMaCToE CK he shouldn't need to spend half a year learning to play a song, he should write and memorise things at a manageable tempo not release music he can't play...
@WiredGuitarists9 жыл бұрын
Zach Belcher He doesn't owe you anything and if anything, you should try working on your musicianship, not talking about someone that is successful with their own.
@ZachBelcher949 жыл бұрын
What does my musicianship have to do with Lee's song, people only get personal on subjective arguments when they are losing.

How do you learn a part like this? I mean techniques and rudiments aside, do you really just listen to it enough to be like, "okay he's hitting these drums at this time, so I can do that by playing this rudiment here like this..." I feel like that would take ages of guess and check. Do you have some sort of trick, other than crunch time, practice, and a steady ear?

comments for this video: a handful saying this is a kick-ass drum cover the rest are people who've never played or recorded instruments saying the writer of the song sucks
@DannyZabolotny9 жыл бұрын
Pretty cool seeing a human cover of a song that's essentially all MIDI.
@veehaytch34409 жыл бұрын
Yep you people can talk shit all you want but when lee releases the guitar playthrough, which he said he is working on, I'd like to see what you have to say
@DannyZabolotny9 жыл бұрын
The playthrough is most likely going to be him just playing along to a prerecorded track, I guarantee it won't be live audio of him playing. And I've seen him playing live enough times to see how sloppy he is when he doesn't have studio magic to help him out. Not saying he's a bad guitarist, but he definitely relies a good bit on programming and editing.
@TyronTention9 жыл бұрын
***** So have I, and I know that of all the times I've seen him, he actually got a lot better. He's been really, really clean actually! Like he can play his solos and riffs very well when I last saw something live. Maybe not Follow the Signs, but other than that, I am hopeful. He's definitely a good writer. If not this, then the other BoO material.
@veehaytch34409 жыл бұрын
Nah he can o follow the signs now too watch newest videos

Don't see that many left handed drummers playing left handed kits. Hahah.Or rather any drummer playing left handed kits.
@bloodlustdrummer9 жыл бұрын
iam_rehab lefty drummers are more tight? Ever consider that being right or left handed has nothing to do with how tight your playing is? Doesn't matter if you are lefty, just practice playing. There are tons of ways to practice ambidextrous playing as well.
@HopeInTheHorizon9 жыл бұрын
@garrett harth dude you take crap way to serious. Go home.
@HopeInTheHorizon9 жыл бұрын
Sam applebaum of Veil of Maya is left handed
@bloodlustdrummer9 жыл бұрын
HopeInTheHorizon lol there are a bunch of good lefty players, as well as right handed players out there..doesn't matter what hand is dominant, seems to me that I'm not the only one who thinks this way..maybe you are the one who should go home mate?
@MCAdrien96069 жыл бұрын
Garrett Harth well what iam_rehab said isn't 100% false in the way that lefties have a natural advantage with music. A Left handed person will develop the right side of the brain which means they will be more creative. This doesn't mean this person will be tighter. And also, I think a lot of lefty drummers play on right-handed kits (I do, so I'm certainly not the only one).

@jayseweaver42389 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the guitar is just general guitar wankiness and it isn't even that written as far as I'm concerned...obviously I don't play or write shit so it's just an opinion...but yeah. Dan Carle still slays the drums though which is cool.
