Dan Corrigan seems to be everybodys skate youtuber right now. Today I explain how his tip helped me learn 5050 on a round rail. 5050 on a round rail can be an intimidating trick but Dan Corrigan did a trick tip where he explained that 5050 on a round rail is all about putting all your weight on the rail. 5050 on a round rail all comes down to being heavy footed and getting the pressure in the right place. Dan Corrigan gave me the confidence with this tip to start trying 5050 on a round rail and now thanks to Dan Corrigan I'm able to do them just about every try. Big ups to dan corrigan for his help with 5050 on a round rail I'll link his channel bell so you can check it out and learn more tricks besides 5050 on a round rail.

This explains some things. I'm extremely comfortable grinding concrete and flat rails, but round coping and round rails fuck my day every time.

round rails are easier than square rails, it just doesn't seem that way at first

Is it possible to get the "feel" for keeping your pressure in the right place by practicing on a ledge? I recently picked up a round rail. . . and have yet to try anything on it because I'm skeered.

Cool vid. Get the pinching idea and see it works for you pinching both trucks on your heelside. However I thought Dan was all about pinching toe side at the front and heel side at the rear for a cross locked effect. What do you think?
@ab-ue9yx
@ab-ue9yx 2 жыл бұрын
Cross lock is the best way to do bs 50-50. For frontside both are safe. Just don’t go toeside on your back foot, that’s a no no

How would you rank the difficulty of round rail tricks? I've 50-50'd a couple of times and can BS board and am wondering what to learn next.

Im scared to go 50-50 on rail is it safe if go fast ?
@localjoe
@localjoe 2 жыл бұрын
It’ll help make it easier but not less scary. To make it less scary you need to practice keeping your knees bent. The trick is figuring out how to fall safely till you have the confidence you aren’t going to get hurt and commit every time. The key to falling is bending those knees more than you think you need to.

@@localjoe what you prefer the most safest way? Heelside lock or cross lock?

I haven't thought of it like land hard on the rail to push down for pinch. Hoping I can get these now but it's extra scary because I have a back injury and am thusly terrified of doing that backwards rail smash thing ever again 😅
