Dan Doofus Fools Around with Fireworks and Learns It’s No Holiday

Dan Doofus is a fireworks fool in the cartoon “Roman Candle Holiday.”
Consumer fireworks are highly dangerous-and result in thousands of fires and injuries each year. Though fireworks are a traditional and fun way to celebrate holidays like the 4th of July, they should be handled by the professionals. Join your community at public fireworks displays, or watch them on TV, but don’t get fooled by the sparkle of fireworks at home.
According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, consumer fireworks start over 19,000 fires and send over 9,000 people to the ER each year. Don’t be a statistic.
