Dan Henry 1964 Watch Review - incredible dress watch for $250!

I’m not over-exaggerating, but I’m genuinely pretty speechless. The Dan Henry 1964 is stunning to look at, with an irresistible build quality that far surpasses any expectations. I've not been this impressed by a watch for a very long time.

Never realised what a nice watch this was and also what a nice price it is also, 19mm strap should not be an issue most Seiko 5's and Orient 3 Stars are 19mm straps so they should be well catered for.

Wow! My first view of your channel. Incredible videography and the most complete review of the DH 1964 I’ve ever seen. I’m on the fence between the 1964 and the 1962 chrono. Did you consider the 1962? If so what was the deciding factor in your decision? New subscriber!

It came with the leather strap already on, or with the bracelet on? Is it difficult to switch between the two? Any tools you need?

Hector Morena I know, can you imagine? It would be seriously awesome. It would depend on the movement of course, but there’s some pretty sturdy mechanical chronos from Miyota for instance. I’d say it would be at least double the price if it was mechanical

Another microbrand with a Seiko mecaquartz which is becoming as ubiquitous as the Nh35 and the notoriously noisy rotored Miyotas. I would prefer the Alpha panda with the Seagull St19 movement as I really don't like quartz watches.

The 19mm lugs kill this watch, it seems like such a dumb move from DH.

Random Watch Videos it’s a bit weird indeed, but that 1mm makes quite a bit of difference visually - perhaps DH was most interested in getting a vintage feel

Why does it kill the watch? There are plenty of 19mm straps out there. Most vintage Seiko’s have 19mm lug widths as well, so there are options out there.

This watch is disappointing: very small case, poor lisibility... Moreover the bracelet is very difficult to put on.
