Its sad that gamergate at the time got infiltrated with right wing lunatics. But the original response was that integrity from gaming journalism was pretty much not existing and journalist where like dating game devellopers. These "gaming" journalists are however more of a dying breed nowadays. While alternative media isnt nessecary good, youtubers and streamers basicly took over covering gaming news, which is pretty non political for the most part. The only thing "gaming" journalists nowaday produce is kinda outrage articles that get clicks because how skewed they are. So while there where good faith actors during gamergate, like totalbiscuit, the only thing these "gaming" journalists produced was the alt right gamer pipeline. And like Destiny said, these weirdo leftists people need to be cut out of our mediasphere because they are unhinged and do not contribute or are bad to the democratic party.

Yeah, sucked when the rightwing bigots started flooding the Consumer Revolt and astroturfed it into the usual political racist shtshow. That's the problem with a leaderless movement., It will always get cooped by opportunistic scum. Damn shame.

I would argue they weren’t even really “right wing” and more just lunatics in general and I’d even go further in saying I actually don’t even think there where that many and certain party’s used that very VERY loud minority to paint the majority in the worst possible light possible and causing the actual problem of the matter Ala games journalism being corrupt to be a total sad SAD afterthought lolz

11:00 Okay so Destiny does understand that mainstream media journalist have trouble reporting objectively when it goes against their chosen ideology. I know he doesnt say they are always right or objective, but its always been unfathomable to me how he does not understand why more than half of the country hates mainstream media and why confidence in news reporting is at all time lows.

That may be the case but they’re still better than alternatives media. Mainstream media, for the most part, doesn’t outright lie but instead leaves out information.

@octaviussallow7838 I am fully aware he understands it. He just doesn't agree that it is a prevalent or substantial issue, and I would venture to guess that the majority of people would disagree. Anytime an opposing voice brings up that media does this Destiny hand waves it away. I think there are better methods of acknowledging the issue without hand waving it away. You immediately lose people by doing that.

Shape your lips as if you're whistling, then without exhaling air from your lungs, push air back and forth with your tongue. Try just moving your tongue back and forth until you hear a faint whistle. The sound comes from pushing your tongue forward. Flicking your cheek helps. Classic water drop sound.
