Sorry to hear about the bike stuff Alex, however great you have a path forward to a ‘pass’ next time. I think BlackVue Dashcams fantastic. Have had these on my cars since 2019, and I won’t use any other brand. Flawless performance from Sony Starvis sensor - great in low light conditions, good resolution (for number plate ID) and look great wired in (no socking great appendage dangling under the mirror like some other brands!). Latest ones feature 3 cameras (including internal one that gives view of occupants and wider view out of back of car) and the newer ‘Box’ variants have a separate lockable box hidden in the car (with the microSD card) that can’t easily be ripped out by tea leaves looking to hide their identity.
