Can't get over how genuine this group of guys is. You guys promote products because you believe in them, not because you're paid to. So cool to see 2 of my favorite hunting teams collaborate together. I think i speak for many when i say thank you for opening my eyes to new techniques.

Last year I hunted same spots all year and when I’d get bored and not see deer I’d go home and I been watching for 3 years now but after genuinely paying attention to your tactics I’ve begun to get down and try to find a deer and figure out why there not coming to where I’d be and find a buncha acorns 80 yards from a bedding area I didn’t know of cause I was scared to bump the deer. Which I’ve had a lot of fails trying these new techniques this year but I’ve had the more opportunity at a deer in this month then all year last year

My hunting clothes get washed once before season and maybe once during season if I hunt a hot day and sweat a lot or if I get really muddy. The rest of the time I take them off and hang them in the garage. I have tried scent killers and cover scents and had deer track me to my tree.

There is a lot of deer bedding in October and early November all over the places I hunt in MO, ozarks pretty big hill country, typically the leaves are still on and I can kind of predict where they will be until the leaves fall completely and it seems like they are just gone.. I have covered so much ground trying to relocate the deer and where they bed after mid November and they just seem gone most of the areas I hunt and I’m covering miles.. Maybe they move onto private closer to the few hay fields? Idk but it’s very frustrating..

I also gave up scent control. I believe that if you spend lots of money and take every step in scent control you can cut your scent from maybe 100 to 50 percent. The problem is that 50 still alerts the deer just as bad. It's not worth the time and money to slightly eliminate some of your scent. You can not and will not eliminate 100 percent of human odor

I try my best to be honest.Im a ground hunter.I don't use cover smelly or unscented sprays.Did once NEVER seen any difference.Personally my morning hunts,im making a spot,I haven't been there sence the yr befor.Im moving sticks kicking leaves around.Im there no sooner then 10mins before you can shoot.Ive seen more BIG bucks and shot a few by sounding like a deer near the BIG buck bedding.If he's already in his bed he may just come out,move around a bit close by,get with in 50yrds frm his bed.Then a evening hunts?Shoot you can get out there when ever ya want.during the rut might see him anytime.But mainly,you've got like ten minutes of light before he moves,so get close.And if ya didn't forget your grunt call?Try blowing that.LOL.fawn distress,followed by mommy,its ok jr...then a faint mature buck grunt.

Dude, digging the 70's porn stache hahaha. You look a bit like James Franco from his new HBO show Deuce. Seriously though, Infalt seems to have pioneered sneaking up on big bucks in their bedroom with only one way for them to go when they wake up. Here in MA all the big deer hang out in the gated communities and non-hunting towns (makes sense). Sweet channel , can't wait for the fall!

Lol the porn stash. This is how I was fortunate enough to learn how to hunt BECUASE of the unbelievably ridiculous pressure in Sullivan county N.Y. solely on public land. I've only had to opportunity to hunt private a handful of times in my hunting career. People have accused me of poaching or baiting because I consistently killed bucks every year, nothing ever over the one twenties but I've been consistent because hunting this way makes you a better hunter ! And side note back in the early 2000s when scentlok suits really got big they actually worked I still have my Original Scent Lok suit from back then and when it was brand new the first season I used it was phenomenal but after that it was all downhill because you can't get the carbon inside the suit hot enough to do what it's supposed to do without burning your clothes and that's what it comes down to there are some scent killing sprays like Primos did I use that actually work as well as all Primo's calls is all I use and all I've ever used because they speak to themselves obviously

First I want to say I respect you guys and enjoy hearing from you especially from dan! I could care less if u think u don’t need to use some kind of scent control or not but it’s really weird hearing from 4 hardcore bow hunters that none of you believe in scent control or trying to mask the bacteria. I have been blown at 3 times in 10 years of bow hunting and all by does. I use the Original Scent killer and a little $25 Ozone tiny machine I put in my hunting tub and will turn it on every now and then and then before I go into the woods I spray down completely head to toe in the original scent killer. Idc if u use scent control but I’m really surprised all 4 of you admitted all the time you get smelled and blown at. I haven’t been smelled since I have been using ozone in my tub with the combo of spraying down. On the other side of it my gpa for years and years wouldn’t use scent control and said it’s a myth but 3 our 4 years in a row he got winded and ever since he lets me spray him down and he hasn’t been winded since. I really respect Dan so It is VERY WEIRD to here him say this. All 4 of you say how great their sense of smell is etc but u don’t think scent control matters. Like I said idc if u use scent control but how in the hell can you ever say how u smell going into the woods doesn’t matter? Another guy I respect is Jim Ward and he believes the exact opposite of what all 4 of you said. Jim understands u can’t be on both sides of the fence here if I know their noses are their biggest strength then how the hell can u say if u go in there smelling like something abnormal don’t worry u are fine lol. You 4 are literally the first 4 people to ever think this or say this. I mean the proof is out there it’s science. Literally right after all 4 of you said this the one guy talks about how a buck winded them and started laughing and you guys didn’t and don’t use scent control. Keep giving up big bucks and keep being blind I could care less but don’t say or act like letting bacteria and abnormal smells build up even after 1 day won’t effect a deer smelling you. That is simply crazy and your own stories have proven that.
@jakeelliott4514
@jakeelliott4514 4 жыл бұрын
If you play the wind you don't have to worry about scent. Your scent cone doesnt hit the deer if the wind is in your favour. Thats why this is a simple concept. If your blown at its because your scent is blowing at the deer. The D'aqcquistos do the same for scent control , and between the 2 of them, they've shot like 15 deer over 160. A deer's nose is as good or better than a bloodhounds, your 7 dollar spray isnt gonna block it. Just play the wind.
@Digs1218
@Digs1218 2 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing. I believe absolutely nothing is 100% foolproof, but every little thing you can do to reduce your scent is an advantage. I agree hunting the wind is the best option, but is not always possible. My belief, the best scent is no scent. I do use scent control products on myself and my clothes. I also shower with scent-free soap before hunting, and my hunting clothes never enter the house, vehicle, camp, or anywhere they can be contaminated, as long as I'm using them, if I can help it. They're hung outside, unless weather doesn't permit, then they're tightly bagged. I do this religiously, and see more deer in close proximity than anyone I hunt with, and have killed way more big bucks than anyone on our farm, and adjoining farms. I do hunt a favorite blind, often regardless of wind direction (because I haven't the choice), but also ground hunt, or pop-up blinds in areas as they're available, and based on my scouting. I don't hunt from elevated deer stands because of vertigo issues. I will also add that I never use any attractants or cover scents, because of my strong beliefs in zero scents. I enjoy your videos. They're entertaining. But you guys get busted regularly on your videos. You actually fail to harvest way more often than you succeed, in spite of the fact that you go far beyond the extra mile to get into the places where the big bucks are hanging. I really feel you should reconsider your practices. At the very least, keep your clothes fresh, and yourselves bathed as much as possible. If for nothing else, as an experiment, to see if it makes a difference.

Seems in my stateland area.The 4 to 5yr olds have there bedin areas.In one square mile i know two.If in the bed"the big boy" the lil ones hang out 50yrds away or so.the big one AWAYS use the same trail,provding the wind ext.I meen the same dam foot prints.This piece of land is only maybe 100 acres of dry land.Thing is ever chunk of land is different.Find the bed that's used yr after yr.Like a cat hunt it.Its really that simple.lol
