If you want more of those growls from Dan, good luck. He only does it in 2 other songs "poker face" and "majesty". The vibrato (the shaky jaw part) is from years of strengthening those muscles. Watch Bruce Dickinson (iron maiden singer) sing "tears of the dragon" and watch the crazy jaw movement he has, lots and lots of practice.

As far as I can tell, the key is the same as the original, but he's a couple of octaves down from Amy Lee. That might be what makes the key seem different! Oh, by the way, have you done his cover of 'Wuthering Heights' yet? Definitely worth reacting to! Once again I really really enjoyed your reaction. There is a reactor who's channel is called Viking reacts. He reacted to Dan's cover of Bring Me to Life and in his head he wanted to hear him singing it with Evanescence. Since that video didn't exist he made one. To call it a mashup of the evanescence video and Dan's cover is an insult to his work. He has seamlessly interwoven them together for a stunning piece of visual art.
