I like this Coach. Quality act, no excuses, and isn't afraid to complement his team while admitting it was a tough loss in a well played, fair game. (No stupid ref calls. That alone is a blessing. Makes a tough loss a little easier to accept). Congratulations Redskins; I think you found a coach worthy of the great Fans, and the winning tradition. The Skins are back, Baby, and the NFL is better for it. So is the NFC East division. Congratulations from a salty old Steelers fan.

I'm glad to see Washington is back in the mix. Congratulations to the great fans of this organization. Getting past Dan Snyder after the glory years of Bobby Beathard and Joe Gibbs has been difficult and a long time coming. The Phoenix has risen from the ashes, and the NFL is better for it.

As a Die Hard Steeler fan from NW Pennsylvania, I tip my hat to the Washington Football Team.and coaching staff. This one was a nail biter and could have been won by either team. A great game with a group of great players!

What needs to be talked about is getting the players to keep their emotions under control during a game. We all know we have a physical gas tank and when we are tired we don't play as well. There is an EMOTIONAL gas tank and players are emptying that emotional gas tank by celebrating AFTER ALMOST EVERY play! Mike Tysons trainer, Cus D'Amato said that in the ring you have to overcome your emotions and reach a state of total calm. That in this state you will see everything clearly and perform at a much higher level. This team seems to fade late in games and is unable to stop teams from taking the lead late in games. I believe PART of the reason is all the damn celebrating after every play has these guys mentally exhausted at the end of games and they lose focus. They need to start embracing stoicism and learn to control their emotions on the field and get mentally tougher!!!!

Yeah, it's just you...oh wait, you got two thumbs up, so you three! Fans will always think they got the bad end of the stick,especially if their team lose!! It was a good game and it is a game of inches, he needed an inch! And to be honest, Washinton has been pretty lucky this year, we still don't know who they really are...lets wait and see!

Mark my words - this dude coaches with slogans. It works to get a bad team to be a middling team. Then it stops working as the players sicken of blown games, and they quit on him and his poor game management. Ask me how I know - I lived through 28-3. Same goes for genius Shanahan. We had a double dose of bullshit sharpening iron, to paraphrase Quinn.
