It's the leadership Elon Musk is hands on at SX he likes to solve problems and keep things progressing and is visionary with realistic steps to make things work. VS Bezos lives in fantasy land and sets stupid requirements and seems to lack technical aptitude - he seems far more interested in drifting about on the ocean in his giant yacht, hindering spacex with legal challenges and doing sub orbital joy rides. Bezos has enough money to keep funding his hobby for a long time on their road to nowhere.

"(Blue Origin is ) making incredible progress these days". Video dated April 5th 2016. Current date October 2021, Blue Origin still hasn't launched to Orbit. Turns out that progress was an illusion.
