In this exclusive episode, we sit down with Dan Smith, the lead singer and creative force behind the globally recognized band, Bastille. From his humble beginnings as an introverted teenager to headlining some of the world's biggest music festivals, Dan opens up about his journey and struggles.
📖 About Dan Smith:
Born in South London, Dan started as a shy teenager, quietly composing music in his bedroom, far from the limelight. Now, as the frontman of Bastille, he has sold millions of records worldwide, leading the band to massive success with chart-topping hits such as 'Pompeii' and 'Happier'. But how has he managed this spectacular rise while grappling with his introverted nature? In this insightful discussion, Dan offers a rare glimpse into his life, both on and off the stage.

Weird!? Whoa, it is a real contrast for me to hear Dan say he has a "weird voice" when in my opinion he has the most beautiful male voice I have ever heard

I agree. His voice easily portrays deep emotion. Maybe it's weird in the way that instead of just pretty or nice his voice has personality and it is comforting to hear.

This interview sends out the most positive vibes and provides a great role-model for anyone who wants to make it through in music industry. Also, love how his parents supported him when he struggled trying to earn his living while keeping making music at the same time. Made my day.😊

He's just so real... the way he addresses his dilemmas... It's so good to see someone "non fabricated" putting on good music. Love Bastille!

They changed my life. I found them in 2013 and I didn’t have a favorite band before them. The impact they've made on not just me but so many others it's astounding. The connection I share with the lyrics, the way bad blood soundtracked my teenage years. I grew up with bastille and I'm entirely grateful. Dan is such a lovely role model to always have had to look up to. They're all great lads, love Bastille with all my heart. ☮️ ❤

They literally helped me become who I am today. I discovered them when I was 12, 10 years ago! So many different stages of life... to think my first kiss was while listening to "Get home" :0 My first tattoo was a triangle, from Bad Blood era. I'm really grateful for all the time their music made me feel less alone

Listened to as much of Bastille as I could handle prepping to cover 'Pompeii'. Not a fan of the band, in the same vein as Coldplay (blah UK pop) but Dan seems to be a good, humble guy. Rare these days for artists.
