The show he did with his father about different battles is incredibly good. About 10 years ago I binged watched all of them. Really great.

I like Dan and love his podcast, he has a great voice and other podcasts are quite boring in comparison, and he doesn’t shy away from the more negative aspects of history or the British Empire. I’m Irish, i have an English name on my dads side, Norton.., I’m of mostly Irish decent, and I really appreciate his shows on the famine and other points in Irish history. There’s no need for shame, historys just history i guess.

The mass DOES NOT CHANGE in relationship to gravity. Mass is, relative to gravity, constant and what we perceive as change is the force of grav pull on the object.

4 great people from history..... Hm. I think the apostle Paul, Martin Luther, Oliver Cromwell and St. Augustine. Why? Because I sure would love to sit back and enjoy the conversation between these people. 🙂

Ya, looking at what Cromwell did in Ireland, a real stand up lad😒

@@EMMYK1916 His treatment of the Irish is the one real blemish on his character. No doubt about that. In his defence let me say this: - He never visited Ireland. So all his information came second hand. - He was fighting catholicism, which he thought was the antichrist. - He believed all the atrocities that the catholic Irish were supposed to have commited against the protestant english settlers. - > Thats how his in other ways uncharacteristic treatment towards the Irish came to pass. Does not excuse him, but maybe makes it more understandable. Still, if you look at what he did, believed and said, except for the Irish part, he still is one of the few historical figures that deserves admiration. He was offered the crown and because of his convictions he refused it, for crying out loud!
