I spent well over an hour on my local music store playing through Krome's sounds. Trust me. If I had the cash to fork out for Krome right away, then I would've done that a few hours ago, as well as picking up your package. This sounds ultra fresh!

Hi David, Unfortunately we can't mix the extra PCM sources to load more than one pack in the same time. The Programs or Combinations can be load one by one but the META.IMG and SOURCE.IMG only one time...

The Krome has chords types recognition or only plays in arp fixed pattern?

Stesco Dan Yes but what I mean is that if the chord is mayor or minor remains always fixed, Krome is unable to change the chord type (mayor to minor, augmented, diminished, etc), only arp pattern transposition is possible which limits the harmonies. Yamaha MOTIF recognizes chord types in the same way as an arranger.

alfredokiwi I can explain you more about how the Arp pattern work. Please contact me on [e-mail] The arp recognise the note on. If you have the note 1,2,3,4 set to on for each 1/8 steps, the arp will play staccato 1/8 for any chords with four notes you play.

Strewth blokes, this Stesco gear is bloody great mate, I finally got me gear to work(SD CARD) and as i have 2 keyboards( Krome & Roland VR09) coupled up with this pack & blending both keyboards the outcome is incredible. It's just like having a 3rd Keyboard and the combinations are unlimited. If i can;t get me bloody hands off of them ,i will end up with "R.S.I. --- Ha! Oh & just in case you happen to be playin Good ,Bad Ugly theme , like a lot of us donkeys do. try using the shaku in it, sounds bonza bloke . Thanks Danny Boy.-------- Sean.

Hi! The editor is indispensable for unit with small display and manny sub menu bar/tabs like microSTATION, Kross. Is not the Krome situation. The Krome display is very friendly and easy to edit the sound without the editor. I made the Krome packs using the display and I edit the programs, combi, arp ,drum track patterns. Cheers, Dan

ok thank you and the usb midi driver? indispensable ? all i want is to connect the krome to my computer to have sound....i dont have amp... and been able to downlowding new sounds to my krome

drouk22 The USB port is only for data transfer and MIDI connection. The Krome not work like the sound card. Kronos have this ability to transfer the sound and midi using USB port. If you want to have the sound from Krome just connect the audio outputs to sound card inputs. Will hear the Krome in your PC speacker. Cheers, Dan

The Depeche Mode cover was embarrassing and offensive to my ears....but the next couple of song snippets were really nice.Korg should really just leave out the electric guitar sounds in their budget keyboards,as they are utter shit & not a selling point at all,for those who are serious musicians.
