I actually prefer the original because it has more costumes, special events and it also has multiplayer. But if you want to have premium, barry and fright zone for free, then choose classic.

The only downside of classic is that you have to start all over..ALL....I spent almost 4 months to get max dan,josie and custom.NOW I GOTTA START ALL OVER AGAIN..Aand barry was worse ;( Edit:There was no edit

Personally, I still prefer classic over regular. I used to play classic, but got really annoyed with the ads and locked content that you need to pay for, but that's not the case in classic. You can just... Play the game. No ads, no need to buy stuff, nothing. I guess for longevity, regular will be better due to events and stuff, but aside from that, I say go for classic.
