I think my two favorite songs by Dan are "My Heart Will Go On" (Celine who?) and his version of "Gethsemane" from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" -- a true _performance_, and a very *human* depiction of Christ just before he's betrayed. Absolutely mind-blowing.
@GrandmasGotGraceLW6 сағат бұрын
@germankitty -- I'm glad you brought up "My Heart Will Go On." @sully2435 -- One of the things I grasped in Dan's version of that song (sung in the key Celine sang it, by the way, if I'm remembering correctly), is that every time Dan sings the line, "...My (or the) heart will go on..." he puts more and more power behind it. You'd think, for some reason, that Dan actually BELIEVES that our hearts go on forever! (grin) There are actually 10 quite-well-defined sections in Dan's cover, with the really great guitarist Garrett J. Peters on BOTH guitar and bass, adding his own adaptation of power to the arrangement, as well. 😀Oh, yeah, and the DRUMS! I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that the drum track was created by Gio (the drummer from FEARLESS). It sounds like his work, anyway.

Greetings Sully Wayne! So happy to see you doing this Dan Vasc reaction video! The Vasc does such an unforgettable and uplifting rendition with this beloved Christmas Carol. Dan’s abilities in music, singing, video work, producing, editing, arranging, composing, songwriting, mixing, just to name a few things-are TOTAL FIRE!!! I have never seen anyone in my life that is able to do all of the things that Dan does so flawlessly. With all of the genres Dan can sing brilliantly well, he always presents us with jaw-dropping, earth-quaking performances that are powerful, inspiring, and shockingly EPIC….each and every time he creates his artistry. I have had to create new words to just add to the Vasc’s epicness, so I am working on a dictionary in his honor, called the Vasctionary! He is Dantastically Vascsational, and I ABSOVASCALUTELY love and appreciate all of his phenomenally superb nuggets from his musical treasure trove. Each and every piece he has done is original and authentically done with a beautiful balance of staying true to the music and also infusing it with his originality. I loved hearing that your KZbin channel has been getting you closer to Jesus, that is awesome! Dan’s music and his collaborations with the most talented and gifted family and friends from all over the world have created a legacy of excellence that is unlike anything I have ever seen. Not only has Dan pioneered a whole new way of doing music, but he has managed to seek out the best of the best to work together with him, and this has blessed my heart beyond what any language can truly describe. Hail to the warriors of sound, brought with the POWER OF METAL! You asked what my favorite Christmas rendition of Dan’s is, and I love them all, along with the 245 videos he has on his KZbin channel. How about I tell you which song of Dan’s is most dear to my heart, then? This time last year I was blessed to have his O Holy Night video pop up, and that my friend is how the Vascular journey began for me. (I am immensely grateful for that!) When it comes to the Vasc, you cannot be disappointed…for he truly is the One and Only, and I call him The Treasure From Brazil. Welcome to Vascland, brother! May you have the most blessed and radiantly joy-filled Christmas! Thank you for your love and support of Dan Vasc, for I believe he will be a household name that is known all around the world and he will ignite and inspire humanity with authentic music that is truly connected to freedom and not enslaved by the corrupt industry that warps the power of music for wicked purposes. Caged birds never know how to fly, and Dan knew that and found the way to soar high like an eagle!!!! I am so thankful he did….for it is an answer to my prayers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🙏🏼🎄🎁❄️☃️🤗

I pray that the Lord will pour out His blessings, His heavenly favor, and His glory upon you, your family and friends so that you have the most wonderful Christmas you have ever known! Glory days are here, and we will see this earth being filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord! We are on earth at the most EPIC time, and shall see darkness fall…once and for all! May you live each day with the fullness of God’s unconditional love, and have JOY unspeakable, full of GLORY!!! The grotesquely, foul, loseronius devil and his fallen and eternally ugly demons and wicked teammates are DONE! Humanity will NOT continue to tolerate wickedness any longer, for the awakening is here! We get to call the most EPIC checkmate of the ages!!!! We must have God’s immense and Grace-filled unconditional love flowing so deeply in us so that those who choose to come out of darkness can experience the love of our Heavenly Father through us. They will need deep healing to restore their souls, but it will be glorious and well worth it; for all of humanity needs to come face to face with God’s faithful, powerful, and limitless GRACE! 😘❤️🤗🫶🙏🏼🎄❄️🎁☃️🎄❄️🎁🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that sings with more heart, conviction, and power all tied up in one nice package. I love your reactions to Dan as well! Interesting that you're a metal drummer, nice little tidbit of info. I'm an old school rock n roll fan, but never got in to the heavy metal. My son was well versed in all types of music with metal and rap being his favorites. Music taste was our biggest difference. 😂 When I found Dan in March of this year, he was a God send to me. I kinda think my son's spirit led me to him. There's not a song I've heard Dan sing that I just didn't like. Most of them I love. His Christmas songs, including Adeste Fidelis, are not seasonal songs to me. They're on my everyday playlists. Again, love your reactions and thank you for what you do!

An additional note... Even when you don't see a Biblical type of name on some of Dan's songs, you will find that many of his covers of the 1980s metal music particularly, are ones he's done because of the mean behind the words ensconced in the metal songs. It took me a while to figure that out, but once you know, you know. I've already mentioned "The Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden. Another song of theirs that Dan has done is "Two Minutes to Midnight." When I first saw the lyrics to that song, I was a bit upset. Then, as I read through them, Holy Spirit reminded me of a certain movie that came out a couple of years back, now, and about some of the things that actually happened when Israel started being attacked shortly thereafter, once again. As those things began to unfold in my mind, I literally gasped, and read through those lyrics again, and began to cry, because of what is contained in them. Something I've learned about Dan is that he is very purposeful about what he sings, and why. Another "for instance" is the song "Dr. Stein" by Helloween. I had avoided watching it until (again) a prompt came from Holy Spirit. I have a feeling that if you watch it, you will understand what the lyrics in it were truly about. One of the other songs that has been mentioned quite a bit in the comments already, is "For All," which was written and originally performed by Roy Khan. It's one of Dan's more "open" statements of where he stands with the Lord (from 2018, when he was just 29 years old. Another song you might be interest in, is FREEDOM CALL - "Warriors" Cover | Ft Victor The Guitar Nerd . Also, there is another one, called 10 EPIC Power Metal Songs in 6 MINUTES . If you check that one out, listen carefully to the lyrics that he has used from the songs in the medley. 😀

...Metal drummer! Where can we find examples of you playing?! Gabriel is one of the other members of the FEARLESS Band. If you're interested, you can also check into the very short list of "Spyglass Inn" (unplugged) songs that Gabriel and Dan have done together. They are folk songs, and very beautiful. Also, the full FEARLESS Band (Davi Vasc, Gabriel Belozi, and Giovanni Rezende ... speaking of metal drummers ... you will LOVE his work, I'm sure) play with Dan and their guest singer Fabio Lione in "The Dawn of Victory" (the most recent one ... Dan did it by himself several years before Fabio gave him the opportunity to do the very special live video with him, in Dan's own studio). If you don't mind reacting to nine of the 12 tracks in audio-only, you can catch all of FEARLESS' full 12-track album called "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" on YT. There are several collections of the tracks, and as long as the playlist says that it is THAT album, you should be able to watch/listen to it all the way through. The whole thing is biblically-based. Dan wrote most of the lyrics, and his two-year-younger brother Davi (pronounced Dah-VEE), Gabriel, and Gio wrote most of the music. There are four tracks (or five...I can't remember which, at the moment) that are definitely identified with scriptures, but the rest of the tracks are also connected with scriptures. The first time I heard the album all the way through, I had a blast, figuring out for myself, which scriptures go with each song. I have a feeling you would enjoy that, as well. 😀 Another song that Dan wrote the lyrics for (and I think I may have mentioned this before), is called "Where the Eagles Fly." It's only on Ricardo Confessori's channel. Ricardo wrote the music, and it's played by his band (now there's some Metal drumming you're sure to enjoy). Thank you very much for your wonderful reaction to THIS song. It's definitely one of my very favorite Dan Vasc videos. 🔥

Could you react to Dan's Gethsamane Jesus Christ Superstar Cover Please
@juliaburnette1455Күн бұрын
Yeah the guitarist is Dan's childhood friend and bandmate in his band Fearless. I have a question though -- please define what you mean by Christian song when you say put your favorite Christian or Christmas songs of Dan's in the comments. He doesn't really cover any well known songs by "christian" artists, if that makes sense. He has covered songs by artists who are christian, but their music isn't all necessarily about Christ, if that makes sense. So for example Dan did two songs by Roy Khan, "For All", and "Abandoned", and Roy is an outspoken Christian but his songs are not all about Christ all the time. The same could be said for someone like Bryan Welch of Korn. Bryan travels the world speaking about Christ but he is probably the only christian in Korn. So there are songs that Dan covers that cover themes that relate to Christianity, like standing up for what you believe in, being faithful and true, and stuff like that, but not necessarily of the type that say, Brandon Lake or King and Country or Crowder bring to the table. Idk if what I'm saying makes sense, but some clarity about what you are looking for would be great. Thanks for the reaction!

@juliaburnette1455Күн бұрын
Ok I figured out what I was trying to say. I meant, do you want suggestions for only "overt" christian songs on this channel, or are you also open to songs that talk about Christ in an indirect way? There a loads and loads of songs out there that if you are a christian, you know that's what the song is talking about, but it's written in such a way that anyone could listen to it and may not directly mention Christ. Like for example, Lauren Daigle songs, like "You Say". That's what I meant. I think any song, if it somehow draws someone to Christ, regardless of if Christ is directly mentioned, is great. But I wasn't sure if you feel the same way. I'm sure you are praying about everything you post. It's a little tough in KZbin land finding that line to tread with all these things. I def am only going to suggest songs that I feel glorify God in some manner to you since I know that's what you are going for.
