What a message from Dan. The cover is already 8 years old, but it is still relevant. Depression is and will always be a battle, it is always up and down. What an amazing person Dan is! I personally don’t know of any other artist who uses his platform to reach out to offer support to those who need help. Dan himself suffered from depression and thank God he was able to pull himself out of the dark place he was in. Many thanks for your reaction to this heartfelt song.

This song always gives me the chills. Have loss to many family members and a very good friend to this. I love Dan and how he is upfront about his struggles in the past. So much more to this amazing young man than his singing.

Thank you, Bea! Thank you, Miguel! I know that both of you already know that the premise of this song is so TRUE! Stand and fight! Don't give in to the many, many ways that come against you and make you feel alone or like you are not "good enough," or whatever. "ALWAYS ONE MORE TRY!" There's a passage of scripture that talks about this: Ephesians 6:10-20 (paraphrased from the New King James Version -- the Apostle Paul speaking to the citizens of Ephesus--Jews & Gentiles alike) -- The Whole Armor of God -- ... Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil, because we don't wrestle against "flesh and blood" (other human beings), but against "the principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness [of this day and time] -- against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the world around us. [Because of all of that, we need to] make use of the whole armor of God, so that we may be able to withstand (-STAND AND FIGHT) against the evil when it comes to wear us down and destroy/kill us. [Having put on God's WHOLE armor, in order TO stand], then STAND [ALWAYS ONE MORE TRY!!!], [because now you have protected and strengthened] your waist with TRUTH, [now you have protected yourself with] the breastplate of righteousness, and you have [protected] your feet with "the preparation of the Gospel of peace [in Him]. [Once you have done all of that] above everything else, you need to pick up (ready for immediate use) the shield of FAITH, because that is how you will be able to stop (and make useless) ALL the fiery darts of the wicked one. [Also, don't forget to] put on "the helmet of understanding" (understanding what??? Understanding that God WANTS TO SAVE YOU FROM HARM) and "the mighty weapons of the Spirit of God"! [Put ALL of these things into EFFECT, by praying always [along with] the Spirit of God -- not just for yourself, but for ALL (including the world leaders) so that the Gospel (the Good News and Truth of God) may go forth STRONGLY. [I say this, because] I am an "ambassador in chains," (Paul was literally constrained by those who wanted to kill him) and I, myself, need to remember to speak boldly, AS I OUGHT TO SPEAK.
