The best rendition of O Holy Night I have ever heard!!! This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and he "sleighs" this song! I'm with your sister Lisa, I love hard rock and metal bands and the guys with their long hair!!

I'm wild about the way he sings this. He emphasizes the most important parts so beautifully. (Most singers just read the words with notes, but not Dan! Dan drives the meaning of those words straight into our thick skulls & dull hearts).

If you think about it, the metal power he adds to this song elevates the significance of the very holy night that is was. I adore this version by Dan. By the way, he could have sung it the classical way and blown the socks off most other versions, but he did it his way, and we were blessed by it. Thanks so much and have a blessed Christmas season.

Like you I get a big smile and I'm going wild when Dan is singing no matter what he sings. I'm a complete addict at his voice and looks. He is one of the best new Rock singers in a long time. Tommy J and Erik are other new Rock singers that I do like very much.

There are just the two artists involved in this song. Dan is singing. Victor the Guitar Nerd is providing all of the background music (both guitars and keys). The man is totally a WONDER on any instrument he plays. Right after he and Dan released this song, last year, Victor release (on his Victor the Guitar Nerd channel), a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of "Silent Night." If you check it out, I think you will love it. 😀 I'm betting your mother will LOVE Dan's version. I've sung this song all my life, solo, and in many different choirs. I'm now 75, and I totally LOVE Dan's POWER METAL VERSION of the song. Go, Dan! 😀 Thank you for the fun reaction...subbed. 😀

Thanks for the great reaction! You mentioned Michael Crawford's Phantom of the Opera. Once the Christmas season is over, you should check out Dan Vasc's Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera, my favorite of the four songs he’s done from this musical. Also, for an example of Dan's amazing talent, in both voice and acting, check out Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. This man can sing any type of music. So impressive!

Thank you this was very entertaining. For next years advent series I would strongly suggest Dan’s Adeste Fideles (Oh come all ye faithful) And My Heart Will Go On will blow your socks of just as much as this did. I love how Victor casually moved the arpeggios from the piano to the guitar and the bluesy feel of that little solo was great. I listen to this year round when I need a pick me up

I think it's Victor the Guitar Nerd on both guitars and piano. Victor never shows his face in Dan's videos. He does show all the different guitars he plays, though.
