Your Reaction is why the Vasc Nation Always shows up when someone ELSE watches Dan sing this song! We like to see someone react just like we did! I always start tearing up when he makes his harmonica sound like Bagpipes! He's turned an old Funeral Durg into a Mighty Anthem! Thank you!

I loved your reaction. Dan sings about his belief in God with so much conviction that I still tear up after listening to this beautiful song after listening to it many times a day for 7 months. It takes you from the shy wonder of a new believer to the powerful conviction that we can do all things with the power of our Lord on our side. Dan sings with the powerful conviction of a warrior angel. My other favorites are “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from the Mulan movie by Disney. If you are not familiar with this song, watch the KZbin clip of it from the movie first. That will explain some of the action. “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”. He sings in Italian, German, Portuguese, and English as well as the Latin chorus. The choir accompanying Dan in the Portuguese verse is 60+ tracks of Dan harmonizing with himself. And one of his earlier works “One Man Choir…Handel’s Hallelujah “. Over 240 tracks of Dan singing all 4 parts. So much original artistry and work go into each of his performances. And his “Nessun Dorma” shows his full operatic training.

Totally and unexpectedly AWESOME to find a first listen reaction to Dan Vasc’s Amazing Grace. Like so many others, this powerfully moving hymn-into-an-anthem is what catapulted me down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. I’ve not listened to Dan’s Amazing Grace for a while now and IDK if bingeing on Oh Holy Night reset something internally or what but the overwhelming emotions of my own first listen hit hard again. Pretty sure your reverent expressions played a huge part too! Reactors who are also fans make watching infinitely more enjoyable, so glad you are one. Thank you for an awesome reaction. 😊

Well MissAngie you have now been baptized into VascNation! Dan can sing anything and better! He takes you on a journey with every song/cover! His father gave him the harmonica when he was very young! Listen to An American Trilogy that he recorded about a week after his Father died 6 yrs ago! The raw emotion that he has shows his love and deep pain for the loss and he is very vulnerable. Every time I hear/watch it I want to just hug him and take away his pain! Along with metal, his main love, he also loves opera that he and his Father shared. He does many genres and there are over 240+ songs in his catalog! He speaks very freely about his battle with depression and declares his music has saved him. That and his second love of video games! So glad you were able to experience O’ Holy Night! Dan is a Christian and grew up singing in church, and his family is musical! His brother Davi Vasc and two of their childhood friends have a band called Fearless and Dan and friend Gabriel have a folk project SpyGlass Inn. So you have a lot to look forward to enjoying by this magnificent artist! Enjoy the rabbit hole journey! Welcome!

Thank YOU, Angie! I'm so very glad to have met you on Dan's "O Holy Night," and I'm totally in love with your reaction to his "Amazing Grace!" It's wonderful to meet people who FEEL music like you do. Well done (to say the least), and I look forward to seeing many more Dan Vasc reactions as you travel further and further through that rabbit hole. ENJOY!!! 😀 I'd like to suggest a very interesting Dan song: "Son of Pain." It goes extremely well with his "Nessun Dorma," as well, since the styles are very similar, and both portray songs from staged plays. "Son of Pain" also inspired me to look for a scripture I knew was there, because before I had heard the song, I had just WEEKS before, been studying something in 1 Chronicles, and the significance of it hit me REALLY hard, as Dan sang the song. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (NKJV) (general permission allows less than 1000 verses to be quoted, free of charge, without copyright issues)... 9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name [c]Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my [d]territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested. c: He will cause pain. d: Border(s)

I can recommend Phantom of the Opera “The Music of the Night” simply wonderfully. His interpretations of Gethsemane Jesus Christ Superstar and Nessun Dorma are outstanding. But basically you can pick out any song and you will be happy. Sometimes with a little metal then again with a lot of metal, I love them all ❤️🤘
