I know it is different to hold a soft note for a long time vs a metal scream for a long time but…….Dan covers Black Wind Fire and Steel where he holds the last note for 30-32 seconds. It’s so amazing I find myself out of breath from just watching. As far as this performance is concerned, Dan is perfection! His Broadway singing abilities are even more profound in Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. Not to mention his opera abilities with Nessun Dorma by Puccini. He also covers a song called Fairy Tale by Shaman (RIP Andre Matos) where he sings a hymn at the beginning that is phenomenal. It’s Jesu Salvator Mundi by Bartolomeo Cordans (1700-1757).
