This sermon is exegetical, practical, and biblical. A masterpiece of biblical interpretation the likes of which few pulpits are so expressive. Important elements comprise this magnificent address.

The old testament has nothing at all to do with new covenant Christianity. The Books of Mathew-John describing Jesus before the Cross is old testament doctrine. Acts 2-Revelation 22 is all we need to be saved period. Acts 2:42 2 John 9-11 verses John 7:16 Romans 15:8 King James version Romans 3:19-21 Romans 10:1-6 wake up out there

The writings of the Old Testament are there for us to learn from. Of the children of Isreal Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit says, "Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. [11] Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. [12] Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." (1 Cor. 10:6,11-12). In another place it is written, "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." (Romans 15:4). The Gospels (Matthew through to John) details how God accomplished our redemption. They give important doctrine and details as to how, "...when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, [5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons." (Galatians 4:4-5). Acts details the beginning of Jesus' prophecied church/kingdom as stated in Matthew 16:18-19 and how one is added by the Lord to it. The Epistles (as well as the other books of the Bible) are adequately summed up with the following truth, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16-17

Acts 18:8 and there is the process given for each of the detailed accounts of conversion experiences in Acts 2, 8, 9/22; 10/11, 16, 18, 19. They all follow this procedure.
