RIP the late great ACG guitarist Glen Buxton. Orianthi is awesome and now Nita is taking her place. I still like the classic ACG sound and records, but time doesn't stop even for 66 yr. old Vincent Furnier.

I can't believe nobody I know ever sent me the link to this one, I've been an Alice Cooper fan since the "Love it to Death" LP first came out, Orianthi lays down the kind of guitar work anyone who knows me at all knows I love, and Caffeine??? I've been "Death before de-caf!" all my life.

Orianthi is lacking just one thing: A distinctive style of her own. Stevie Ray Vaughan was instantly recognizable by his playing. Ted Nugent is instantly recognizable by his playing. Eddie Van Halen is instantly recognizable by his playing. So is Slash, and Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani, and all the real guitar greats. Orianthi is a great player but she needs to develop her own distinctive style and tone.

Partially Agree with you dude... Orianthi has her own tone and style, but probably is her bluesy style that you don't like much, because she plays along ver ysimple blues scales, hexatonic or pentatonic, using the fifth diminished as a blue note, and she prefer to play along chords, rather than along scales. I think She has a nice tone (not my fav one ever) and a good style. She 's a bluesgirl at the core.
