I have watch Castle for almost four years now, and I started The X-Files just a month ago. Beckett is one of my favourite characters on tv, but I have to admit that Scully (who now I love even more than Beckett) is, by far, a better character than Beckett. Love the vid, made me realise that, for me, Scully is one of the best cops of tv shows ever.

I agree with you. Although I really love Beckett, I have to say that Scully is a much more complex character... no one could ever match her!

I see Castle since it starts but before that i was a fan of The X- Files and a huge fan of Gillian. Scully it's a complete character she is strong, smart, loyal. and she loves Mulder more than she loves herself. She lost a lot in the whole show but she keep her head up and never leave Mulder. She kept strong when she thought that Mulder was dead. I think for Beckett be a complete character she as to show her pain and suffer a little bit more . But both of them are girls on fire. Great work with the video. :)

Maybe because they made Beckett just a little bit happier - she didn't only get the man she loves but also married him. And Castle was not so broken as Mulder, his mom loved him and then he got a loving daughter. Also Caskett went through a lot too but MSR simple couldn't catch a break almost all the time 😓

Beckett is just more complete character then Scully if you didnt see Castle you should .That's just my opinion . I like them both but Beckett is better . Again my opinion .

I disagree That Beckett is The Better Character.....Beckett is an NYPD detective and She is More compatible in that Area...But need I say Castle has 2 People from the X-Files on it...David Aman....And..uhh.....Rob Bowman....But Fact Remains That Beckett is A Different Version Of Scully....but they are similar in many Ways...SOO...Yup. @@ArcticWhovian yes both Gillian and Stana are talented actresses. And if you watch behind the scenes videos they got very similar characters
