Regarding the taxes, I think Kevin Holland years ago alluded that the UFC could compensate the fighter high enough so that their take-home pay is still rather good despite the taxes. It’s just the UFC doesn’t want to pay these fighters more. Just pay them as little as possible so they have very high profit margin
