The UFC is still expanding while the fighters are still getting paid dog shit. It’s so bad that a lot of them have to depend on doing little MMA seminars and had to make the majority of their money through sponsors. Which paid more than their pathetic MMA check. Then the UFC puts together the Reebok deal for self interest. Which caused the fighters to not be able to wear their sponsorship logos into the cage destroying their main source of income. Dana’s excuse to not pay the fighters their worth was that the company was at its infancy compared to other sports and wasn’t making enough to pay the fighters a lot of money. He forgot to leave out that the UFC was generating a fuck load of money at this point. The fighters put it all on the line and made dog shit while the UFC got filthy. Then Dana and the Fertitta’s sell the UFC for 4 billion dollars while the actual fighters that sacrificed everything ended up with very little to nothing. The motto was, bust your ass and fight for peanuts to grow this company , so we could turn around and sell it for 4 billion dollars while you get nothing out of it 🤦‍♂️
