I was a teenager watching that TUF finale on TV... it was insane. the best part was I already loved MMA but my aunt and some other family were watching the fight with me and the whole thing dana said about how their ratings kept exploding as each round went by was so true. My aunt was calling people between rounds like "You gotta watch this 'cage fighting' stuff on spike its insane!" Her and I still talk about MMA to this day and I'll never forget that moment.

Inflation matters.. At that time 2 mil could be a lot compared to today values... For example 10 U.S dollar in 2005 might equivalent to 100 u.s dollar in today market..Might be more or less.. Imagine the worth of 2 million dollar in 05/06 or 07 in today world... Inflation is the main reason why our current currency much went down from top to the bottom..
