No..by the time these two fight, ortega will be primed up and ready to go, and that's if he can defend his belt for any period of time. Volk wasn't the same volk when they fought that he used to be. Now max halloway, despite being out of his prime is trouble for anyone. Alot of great fighters In this division.

I’d like to see Ortega vs emmet. Have volk fight evloev since evloev has yet to get a finish in ufc and volk needs a tune up volk has good grappling it’s a good test for both.

@@stephenr80 evloev needs a big name opponent I think volk is the biggest name evloev could ask for I don’t think emmet is a big enough name or high enough in the rankings for evolev. U could do Ortega vs evolev and winner gets a title shot but I think it would be better if Ortega gets emmet and volk gets evolev.

Yair really disappointed me man, he had absolutely zero takedown skills. Also had no ground game, creative fun striker, but he has to work on his ground game

I like Ortega butwe've seen this narrative... Ortega puts on a good performance gets a big fight and just doesn't have that championship fight mentality. Could he win the title? Yea . But hes too inconsistent i think he even admits that. Just money fights Brian , big matchups,$$$$$$ any fight hes in is entertaining as hell.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ilia was right… there is no competition for him in FW, lets hope gaethje doesn’t kill max otherwise I personally cant see a single worthy matchup for the title fight right now

Also chandler is waiting for a conor fight and gaethje will aim fro the title if he beats holloway, neither of those fights can happen, if illia moves to lightweight he will have to fight islam but thats too early for him to even think about rn
