50 years ago I shopped at Ann Taylor it was a very high end store. Only wool, silk, cashmere in exquisite styles. No shoes or bags or jewelry. Just beautiful exceptionally well made clothing. I miss that store. Then again, so much has changed over that many years in clothing. When I started to write this the 50 years have gone by way too fast. You choose some nice things it’s definitely still coming out with some decent things but quality is not what it once was.
