Out of all theories and facts flowing around I have paid a lot of attention to a single fact of CW troubled development and how it was not a Black Ops title which Raven were developing. Since Treyarch was doing MP/Zombies and Raven were doing campaign I think we can agree they werent told to cast specific actors for certain characters so they went with their own first and when they turned CW into Black Ops title it was probably too late to redo mocap and facial capture, so they rolled with this change for BO6 as well. Which to be fair is pretty disrespectful to diminish Treyarch's work on Raven part

​@North_Dumpling I think it might be because our boy James likes to make Woods into a certain way and he has said that he even got mad at the fact that treyarch wanted Woods to be this but James wanted something else and maybe they didn't want to deal with that in CW as Woods isn't all like the one we once had, at least that is the impression I have by this as a studio with this things in mind having someone like James when the story isn't what we previously thought it might be. Still I am trying to find a needle in the haystack and that's what I come up with so don't take my word for it, also, as far as my concern James only wanted Woods to be like him in a way and treyarch actually loved it so you can argue it doesn't make sense for them to not hire James solely for that but who knows? That is my pick.
