Haven't played it yet but that seems to be the consensus. They seem to use action sequences to actually progress the plot rather then the newer 2 movies using them to just add runtime

Troy’s portray of Indy is pretty good, though I think at times his version of Indy is a bit too serious, lacking that early day Harrison Ford’s slickness
