FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF DUBROVNIK CROATIA AFTER 24 HOURS (we are shocked!)

Our first impressions of Dubrovnik Croatia are in...and they're good!! Very good. We are shocked at how epic this city is! Today we take you around Old Town Dubrovnik, on top of its towering city walls, and down between the ancient, narrow streets below. We try the best burgers we've had in our lives at Republic Burger House (Fast Food Republic) and also best gelato we've ever had, Ferrero Rocher from Peppino's! We also head to the local Bellevue Beach and explore its cliffside platforms, caves and pebble beach area! Excited for our stay here in Croatia!

Hello Dan and chelle! My grandmother is fromDubrovnik Croatia🇭🇷! Make sure you try the grilled fish and squid, cooked straight on coals 🐠🐟🦑 ! The crystal blue water is very pretty💦! They have some really pretty hotels, in Croatia 🇭🇷 plus they come with amazing views, of the old fashion buildings! Hubby and I have been to Croatia/Dubrovnik and other towns. The walk on Dubrovnik’s wall was exciting. Put Estonia on your list of countries to visit. All your travel vlogs have been fabulous. We laughed so hard when one of your viewers asked if you had the time for a workout at a gym!!😂🤣 Proof that they did not watch all your exhausting walks, swims, mountain climbing etc. You are both in great shape! If a washing machine is spinning but doesn't drain then usually means the valve is clogged and should clean it with vinegar but if it's corroded then should be replaced. Hi guys, I have been following you for a while and I am stoked that you are in my city! Recommendations: for the love of God don't miss LOPUD island, or if you can, take a private boat ride/day trip around the Elaphiti Islands, also Trsteno Arboretum is amazing! Food: small fishies called Papalinas (smaller than sardines, best ever!), Scampis "na buzaru", Octopus "ispod peke" (baked with potatoes), lamb "ispod peke" (baked with potatoes), black squid risotto, frutti di mare risotto, wine: try Zlahtina (white), Babic (red), you will not believe it! Chelle, don't leave the city without the traditional Dubrovnik earrings! And of course come back and let me know when you do! Your Croatian fan! 💖💖💖

Omg Croatia!! I've always wanted to go there, looking forward to seeing what you get up to there. Also I had to say this... I was walking through my local shopping mall this week (I live in the UK) and there was a whole stall which only sold "Portuguese tarts". I have never seen them here before!! I remembered them from all of your lovely Portuguese vlogs and how you ate them like every day 😂. I literally made my kids do a U-turn so I could go and try one and omg you were not kidding, they were amazing 😍

Believe me! You can find those tarts (pastéis de nata) everywhere around the world; USA, Luxembourg, France... all the places where Portuguese immigrants live! I knew already they sold them in London, there are so many Portuguese in London.

Especially with how nice they are 😋 I think it's more the fact I didn't realise they were even a thing and so had never noticed them before. Plus I live up north where you might not find as many 'touristy' eating stalls and things. But it was bang in the middle of the clothes shops, run by a lovely Portuguese lady and attracting a lot of attention because we don't normally have stalls like that in that area... But I'm so glad I spotted it, it was delicious 😍

You might get some interesting photography around the abandoned holiday resorts at Kupari just outside the city. Unlike in Dubrovnik they didn't repair the damage done in the war in the 90s.

Im Croatian war veteran and was in Dubrovnik in 1992 debloking the city...I will not talk about war , but Dubrovnik was amazing without tourist...can you all imagine that...only 2-3 people in main street in old town
