"Döner" actually refers to the meat, although everyone also simply calls the version in flatbread, that Dan has, Döner. The Berliner Döner is characterized by its sauces, they usually have herbs, garlic, and spicy. The garlic sauce is often based on mayonnaise, which makes it a little richer and greasier. We’d just say Halloumi Dürüm and Döner Kebab in these cases. Dürüm and Döner refer to the form/bread, Kebab to the meat and Halloumi of course to the weird cheese 😉
