My wife and I accidently found Dana Winner a few years ago on KZbin. She is an amazing singer.

During our lifetimes there are moments that we cherish and will never forget. Listening to Dana sing this song, for me, is one of those moments. Her small audience was in stunned disbelief and Dana was singing her heart out. You'll notice on this video Dana adds the word, "Yeah" twice. She could feel the magic in the room and so could we. Anyone who listens to this has to return to it over and over again, it is that special. Dana, I've listened to most everything you've recorded on you tube including Concerts, dancing in the square, Winter Olympics and on and on. I am from the USA and I know you have concentrated performing mostly in Europe and South Africa but I wonder if you have ever realized how popular you still are in my country? He was driving home in a storm and a tree that had been hit by lightning fell through the cab of his truck killing him on impact and he was only thirty six years old, and he was only 200 yards from home. No nosso meio saudoso existe uma geração mais desenfreada, que gosta mais daquilo que é próprio deles. Pudesse um dia voltar, pediria a Deus a década de 80. Então para lá eu voaria e iria pousar em dias tão tenros e tão doces numa juventude inflamada de vida e alegria. Tudo eu faria igual de tão perfeito que foi, os bailinhos da música lenta, as discotecas ao rádio ou ao toca discos à pilhas "Rayovac", os passinhos bem ensaiados e uniformemente cheios de travessuras e ritmos que chamavam atenção de todos. E o nosso corpo falava por nós. Toda aquela energia estava nas músicas, estavam naquela moçada linda, em suas roupas coloridas em seus cabelos de topetes maciços e tão vastos. Os giros de cabeça, os ombros desenfreados, as pernas eram mais roqueiras e loucamente aéreas em movimentos que comandavam os quadris totalmente sem molas. E tentávamos cantarolar as músicas internacionais para dá mais ênfase ao corpo, e íamos assim, até o dia amanhecer e levar com ele aqueles dias saudosos e tão cheios de recordações do nosso passado. E eles se foram e estão preservados em uma memória distante e que de vez em quando são trazidas através destas músicas tão memoráveis. Uma florada boa de cantores, músicas e uma juventude primaveril em brotos com largos outonos para perder folhas e florir de novo. Aqui estou eu com saudades de um tempo distante, mas feliz com o universo que me fez tão feliz, tão grata com Deus e tudo que me foi dado. As dores e tristezas? Elas existem e fazem parte de mim também. Perdi muita gente que amei e estão no meu coração, na minha alma e na minha memória. E serão eternas, como tudo que Deus me deu. Valeu Deus meu. Today a memory picture popped up on my Facebook feed and it was the picture of the entrance to the building where my divorce attorney's office is located. This is my moment of time where years of trying to make it work and infidelity stop did not happen and I had to make a very difficult decision, not before trying a total of five times to go through the legal process, yes five times, to put an end to so much suffering. It wasn't until I stopped loving and trusting that I was able to come to terms that it was the end. I have moved on with God by my side, creating a new life and new dreams that I pray that one day I will share with that special someone God has for me a second time around. ❤
