DanB Does "New York, New York" from Gremlins 2

I recently came upon the extended "Gremlins 2" soundtrack on iTunes with an instrumental of the musical number at the climax of the film. All the Gremlins you hear, the sound effects, and Tony Randall's lead vocals have been overdubbed by yours truly. Every now and then I'll take on a beast like this as a labor of love. This flick entertained me as a kiddo and I hope I can entertain you now. Enjoy! [My favorite Gremlin to voice was The Wicked Witch Gremlin. :-) ]

I love how the Gremlins singing "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra. Actually it is kind of cool for them sing the song, but it is so sad they all had to die so young. Gizmo is very happy they are all dead and very lucky he didn't die.

The ADR was well done. This was my favorite of all as a kid and methinks the whole lobby scene was my favorite, between the 'Say cheese!' Polaroid moment and them messing with class 4 military weapons that just so happened to be laying around in crates.

I couldn't help feeling sorry for the Brain Gremlin when he got electrocuted and died along with the rest. He did not deserve to die that way. He really wasn't all that bad. It would've been much better if the movie ended with him and the green female gremlin getting married, but then again, they probably would've given birth to many little gremlin children, and that would've been a disaster.
