YESSSS!!!! ASTRO have such fun choreo. I remember trying to learn this back in the day and not realising that it was actually harder than it looked. CANT GO WRONG WITH ASTRO CHOREO

I must say, this reaction video stands out as the most detailed one I've ever watched. Your meticulous attention to every element and technicality of the steps is truly commendable. I deeply appreciate the thoughtful pauses you incorporated throughout. However, there's one aspect about Astro's performance that I feel deserves special mention-their seamless and agile transitions from one formation to the next. What truly astonishes me is how effortlessly they execute these shifts without even a glance, avoiding any collisions. Their gracefulness on their feet is akin to gliding, particularly evident at 3:03 and 3:55. Hope you can do more of their stuff.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words... Truly means a lot! Their transitions are VERY smooth! So much so I didn't even notice them! THAT'S HOW GOOD THEY WERE! I'll definitely be looking more into that side as I look at more of their discography!!!

i know it's random, but this is the very first time I've watched this dance practice since bin has passed, and it made me cry a bit, thank u so much for talking highly of their choreo, I know bin would have appreciated your intricate analysis on their moves, he was an amazing dancer and we could see he loved to perform❤️ just wanted to put it out here in case anyone else is going through the same as me with astro content, I haven't been able to watch anything, even if it's funny and happy, I'm always a mess, but in this video I realized I prefer to watch it and get distracted from the crying from time to time than never seeing the boys happy again so... it's a win for me, but just know that if u can't watch it, u still valid, and it's okay❤

Wow.. Thank you so much for being so open and honest about where you are. I can only understand a small taste of what everyone has probably gone through. I hope I am able to continue to be impactful and a positive addition for Astro and I would be honored to continue looking at their choreographies in the future

im the same, i knew astro for a while and bin was always someone that made me smile, it was hard to not love him. i saw astro live 2 years ago, won't be deleting the videos i got for memories. when bin passed, i couldn't watch any type of video of him, spent a week sobbing and still do. i know i have not been the same since, things just don't feel right without his smile. i miss him so much, but i know he would want us to smile and for us to look after each other. so from one aroha to another, i've got you and we can do this. keep remembering how proud he would be of us all. and try to smile, even if its hard but remember it's okay to be sad. you aren't alone, but if you need someone, anyone, i am here for you, WHENEVER. im proud of you 💜

I know I said this about every choreo but this one really is one of their best ones lmao, on top of being technically super impressive, as you saw, something about it transmits a really fun and happy energy and makes me want to get up and dance! I love it 🥰 Also I was not expecting you to know their pre-debut drama (to be continued), that thing was such a mess but we love it dearly. Also the theme song from it that you mentioned is called "cat's eye" and it's a bop, heavily recommended to anyone reading this

So I low key think the To Be Continued drama was my first exposure to the group haha! Didn't see their dancing but know one of the tracks they had on that show they were in haha! Love the connection!

Thank you for the detailed reaction to our boys!If you are interested plz check out their Again(subtle),All night(some floor work)and Knock(powerful and clean)dance practices which are just as fabulous!😋Synchronization and subtle choreos are always our dance style and their dance practices are always fun to watch and analyze

I really loved your long, detailed analysis of this choreo! It's one of their best choreos. A lot of your observations were spot on! Astro worked with a single choreo team (I think called 88Rising) from pre-debut all the way through Crazy Sexy Cool. The team trained them for the two years prior to debut. Former member Rocky (whose rap feature choreo you really liked) also helped with a lot of their title track choreo and most of their b-side choreo for live stages and concerts as well. (He's gone solo now. He departed before Binnie's passing.) So Astro's choreo is really well-tailored to the members and carries their signature flavor really well. (Rocky choreographed for other idol groups even prior to debut, and also after he went solo.) Astro used a different choreographer for Always You, though Rocky, Jinjin, and Bin choreoraphed at least everything seen in the music video (sadly there's no dance practice), and then there were different choreographers for All Night and Blue Flame. Astro switched to FreeMind from Knock onwards, including for their subunits and solo performances. Would love to see you check out Rocky's individual choreography now that he's solo. I am excited to check out your reaction/analysis to All Night!

I loved how you peeled back the layers to expose how and why everything was woven together and connect with a purpose. Thanks for reacting to my boys. Please react to more Astro. You’ll definitely have a great time. I also would like to say that I appreciate individuals’ differences in style of the same movements. For example, Taemin has more of a smooth flow to all different types of movements where as Moonbin has more of a sharpness to his moves, each done with power that just doesn’t stop even when he was hurting. I used to watch him learn other groups choreo live. You could tell how much he loved and enjoyed dancing and learning choreo. He seemed to be able to dance any groups choreo at the drop of a hat and do it well. Sometimes he even impressed the original artists/dancers 😄 I hope you get the chance to see many of his performances. I secretly wished to see him and Taemin dance together just once even if it was just a dance challenge when Taemin returned from service. That would have been fun to see. Moonbin was known as the stage genius. I can’t explain it, you just have to see it for yourself but he brought and left his everything on stage each time in a way that would completely captivate those watching. True, I’m a little biased but it was his dancing that made me as such.Thanks again for reacting to Astro.

Yay! Thanks for featuring our 6 SHINING STARS. ASTRO has been known to be the MOST SYNCH group. Their choreography is always something to watch out for. You've mentioned about their choreographer, aside from their resident, one of the members who happens to be one of the rappers also helps in choreo, he's ROCKY. I missed seing them perform on stage. Hope to see more reactions from you, Jessica. Thanks for your reaction and analysis and I look forward to hopefully more in the future! You mentioned wanting to know more about who the boys are and why we're fans. ASTRO are a group of very genuine, kind, hardworking, and talented boys. There are many, many stories from various staff who have worked with them over the years, even just once, who attest to their wonderful characters. They are a bunch of lovely boys who are earnest about what they do and the effort they put in, but do not take themselves too seriously, and I quote from them, "We can't be normal. We are not seeking to be normal."

I'm so glad you brought up Seventeen and The Boyz. Astro competed against both of them during ISAC in Athletic Aerobics. AA focuses on artistry and synchronization. Astro tied with Seventeen at first, but won because they were more synchronized. Same with The Boys. I encourage you to watch it if you get the chance. Thanks for an Astro reaction! 💜

Yay! I saw your reaction to hardest kpop dances and you paused on their debut song at one point. Astro really liked Monsta X and were able to work with their choreographers and dance team, which is funny because Astro is known for their refreshing concept. Very different concepts. Astro has some jazz influence in their dances and are ranked high for synchronization, up there with Shinee. Rocky did theater, ballet, jazz, some tap, etc. and was on Hit the Stage for a week (the one who spins a lot). Moon Bin was in DBSK Balloons as a kid, did modeling, then became a trainee with a famous line in his contract (he mentioned anyway) that he basically can't be forced into an idol diet lol. JinJin the leader BBoyed before being a trainee but after years of idol choreo he lost a lot (don't know how else to describe it but I think you'll understand). They also won gold for both Aerobics events at ISAC they competed in, even beating Seventeen their 1st year. Fun dance fact.... they do a lot of synchronization and Korean choreographers have noted that they are very good at matching movement and height, which is impressive because JinJin is 174 cm and Sanha the maknae is 185 cm.

I heard a little bit of their background whenever I posted this on Patreon first, and I can see their versatility shine through here within and throughout the choreography! Love that they have been noted to have great cohesiveness within synchronicity by fans and others within the industry! A great trait to have as a group!

Interesting listening to a professional watch and speak about Astro and their dancing. Hmm, I know nothing of the technical side of dance. I doubt most of us do. However, to me, dance is an emotion. I just know if it touches me. Excites me, lol. Do I want to watch it again? Astro is one of those groups for me. I hope you take the time to enjoy the growth the boys had. They worked and lived together for many years. It only got better and better. Thank you for reviewing them and explaining what you look for in dance. I would listen to you again. Your discomfort with the boys' personalisation is what makes them different and attracks a very caring and sincere love for them. These fan base is special. They are called Aroha 's. ❤ MB4EVER ♥️

I wouldn't say their individuality was necessarily "uncomfortable" for me but I know that they are known for synchronicity so I tend to look at the range and timing of a group with that quality as an overall group! I loved how each member has a different "vibe" but can dance so well together !!! Excited to watch more!
