actually the male dancer (James) is primarily a hip hop dancer I have to give him credit for doing contemporary BTW they are a couple on the show but next year he is moving on and is no longer a dancer. Also I would like you to react to some group dances. Coming home is a great non- competitive one or A- Side and rewind is a great competitive one.

Loved this reaction. James and Riley are together in the storyline and they're performing at internationals, which is a dance competition. James wants to leave the Next Step to become a drummer in his band which is why Riley says that they're dancing together for the last time. 😀💜

i feel like this dance can only fully be appreciated with the storyline because as a standalone dance it isnt hugely impressive, but it’s the chemistry alongside the background which makes it so loved against fans i feel

totally valid! I didn't realize while watching DAnce Moms that the numbers were not as powerful emotionally to other people that didn't watch the show. When you're invested in the storyline of the show it makes a huge difference for sure

James is mainly a hip hop dancer so that is probably why his lines aren’t as good in the story line James and Riley are dating but just before this dance James told Riley he was leaving a troupe to be in his band full time so that’s why it’s the ‘last time’ also they are dancing at internationals and this duet was the tie breaker for the finals

Since you were confused, they're a couple, but the male dancer (James) was quitting dance, so they're never gonna dance together again. Also, it was perform at Internationals, so it was a dance competition

The story line is Riley and James have been a couple since Season 1. I would say they are the main couple of the whole show. However, James decided that after Internationals (the competition this dance was performed in) he was going to leave and focus on his band instead. This was the deciding duet and the last performed dance at Internationals. That’s why it’s the last time they are going to dance together and why she is upset about it :)

Can you react to morr riley and james dances or scenes i definitely love their dances but their storylines are better in my opinion can you like react to james and rileys story? Or the next step characters react to season 1 episode 10? Its kinda cute and funny.

Jiley fans would hate me for saying this but I always never really liked this dance. Yes the storyline and the fact that at the time we thought that the show would end made me sad but I never got why people loved this duet so much. It was very choppy, I liked their other duets better because it was a good balance for both their dance strengths. Like whenever I go back and watch the extended version I don’t feel any emotion because there is no one telling me how emotional it is. Yes they have chemistry but there is a difference. And I always watch it in two different ways, as a fan and/or as a dancer. It’s just not my favourite, other duets r better and the voiceovers are what save it
