It's important for praise dancers to be properly dressed when they go out before the people. If not you distract people from being ministered to because they are focused on the negatives instead of the positives. I hope this video helps. So glad you are covering proper dress for dancers! The best color to wear under white is actually a NUDE colored tank or camisole. Black shows through white, but nude or beige blocks out your undergarments but does not show through the white dress. Try nude instead of black and you will see a big difference.

something that I didn't see that I would suggest is buying a short sleeve or long sleeve leotard. I assume fro. your accent that you are in the south. Up here in the North East or at least at my church and through The Eagle's International Training Institute, those undergarments you showed go under the leotard to hold everything in place. Especially for the plus sized woman and those who are more endowed. Thank You for your video. God Bless

My praise dance team is just starting and we have purchased the basic white dress that you have shown in this video. What is the best way to clean this dress. Can you wash this dress in the washer?

+Robbie Horner yes you can wash them. I do recommend that you let them hang dry. It will preserve them longer. I would also recommend using tide or gain they work really well on them. If you should get a spot on them spray it with Shout stain remover or add oxi clean to your load. A few years ago I started keeping all uniforms on the church campus. That way we didn't have to worry about someone loosing them (I've had it to happen) or them messing them up by not washing them correctly. Just a extra tip! I hope I was informative.

Yes you're so on point about appearance. now I praise dance as well, along with flagging. my deaconess always tell us to wear under white under white. I've questioned it, but you don't want to be rude, stay very respectful. Of you're saying to not have imprint showing you have to wear black. so what I've done is purchased a nude leotard.

This is my first time being in charge of any head department. What catalog would be good to purchase praise dance dress? if there any trusted website that you know that have affordable dress and so on. My girls are not petite but heavy rounded body size type. thanks for your help

Vdizzy M You're welcome! Congrats on your new position in ministry. I would suggest www.Dfwga.com I've used this company for a while now. Liturgical dresses usually run $30-$40. And that's a roundabout price on all dance sites. And if the dancers are plus sizes, the price will be a little higher. I would suggest a fundraiser. That would help take some of the cost off the dancers. I know that being over a ministry can be challenging and overwhelming at times. But just take it one step at a time. And seek God in everything that you do. It's also good to keep a relationship with your pastor. It's important to know the heart of your leader and what they expect from you and the dance ministry. As well as what direction to take in ministering in dance. I hope this helps. I know you'll do just fine in your new endeavor in ministry! God bless!

Live,love,laugh Jada You can as long as they're thick and not thin. I suggest black because sometimes you can see through the dress. Depending on how thin the material of the dress is. Black can cover and mask that. Normally most dancers wear palazzo pants underneath their dress or skirt. This is so if you turn, kick, spin, or jump you see the pants and not leggings. I hope that makes since. We want be modest and the attention off us so we can minister to the people.
