Dance Gavin Dance - Frozen One Tutorial

Finally got some time this evening to get another tutorial done =) Frozen one, it appears this has been waited for for a while by a lot of you, sorry it took so long! One or two awkward parts to thhis one, one of the more challenging songs from Mothership to play, but all in all a great tune with lots of DGD's signature riffages and lickages! Enjoy =)

How can u get that distortion tone? It sounds crunchy af

He has a video on it but I find that you can get pretty close by setting to a clean tone, turning bass mid and treble to 7, then slowly increasing gain until it starts to chop up.

Emmanuel Velazquez It's entirely dependent on the amp you're using as they all sound very different. If you watch my 'How I Record My Covers' video I go into tones a little bit in there.
