Spot on, man! I never much cared for the screamo/growly vocals in any songs, but this band just kills it. They're so unique that both tillian's and Jon's voices are just as much instruments as the guitars are. They're insane
@SkuIIKn1ght Жыл бұрын
Agreed, I feel like it's a very balanced amount of screaming along with the vocals which I enjoy immensely.
@colleenmahony88032 жыл бұрын
This is one of my kid's favorite bands. So I hear it a LOT. The screaming is an acquired taste, like getting used to super spicy food or something. But the "clean" vocals are so friggin stunning, and the lead guitarist is amazing. There's some brilliance in here, for sure. Went with my kids to see them here in Detroit. Some craziness ensued that ended with the drummer going to rehab, but even given the problems, they killed it. I'm a fan as an old-mom.
@MBStudios Жыл бұрын
It’s funny. For me it was the opposite, I was more into non-spicy singing like Tillian which got me into the band initially but when I got more into Jon Mess and the screaming, it introduced me to dirty, screaming vocals and I’m obsessed with this type of grunge singing cause it sounds passionate for any emotion: rage, happiness, excitement, craziness etc.

Holy shht you did DGD! wish it was "Inspire The Liars" "Man of the Year" or "We Own The Night" tho @4:51 they actually have instrumental versions of all their albums. And you wont ever have to worry about getting DGD videos blocked. The only song i know people had issues with uploading was "Strawberry's Wake" Tilian = clean vocals Jon = unclean vocals Will = guitar Tim = bass Matt = Drums And no one know where the name came from. They had 3 singers total; Jonny Craig, Kurt Travis (JC came back for 1 album) and Tilian joined around 2013.
