Yeah, I also thought the ending was leading into a big drop, but it still works, in my opinion, because it's seemingly a metaphor. A song cut short similar to how Tim's life was cut short. I think it's appropriate. 10/10 song, I listened to it for 3 hours straight the moment I saw that it dropped

We had the same reaction at the end- but it’s beautiful writing in itself with how abrupt it is, wondering if it’s reflecting Tim’s early passing :( this is also the first song we have by them with all 4 vocalists!!!

Tilians vocal range is much higher than he usually sings at. He hits a high Eb at 1:27 behind the main vocal and its there in the next chorus. Same high note he hits on One in a Million. Dude is a beast.
