In an alternate universe Tillian joined Saosin off of the demo he did and Kurt and Jonny kept alternating albums. Jonny eventually reconciled with Emarosa rejoining for an album and then left again for Slaves making Kurt the set lead vocalist for DGD. Donavan from Hail the Sun occasionally features on drums and vocals. Life is good.

The thing I love how this band has (less so in recent years) people come and go, in and out of the project, but they all stay friends and contribute to other projects. Make DGD feel like something greater than just a single group of individuals, and more collective. Jonny has come and gone twice, but has played live with them since. Kurt is featuring 8 years after leaving. Zachary did some session stuff on "Care" and is playing with them live after leaving the band originally. It's really great, you hear the influences between songs whilst still feeling like DGD.
