LYRICS
No frowns around
I’m now an older clown
I think I honked my spleen
The money came to answer my prayers
If you filming me piss
It’s probably best, I stop the stream
My colon is golden, eyes they gleam
Waking up
Courage
in my cup
Last was night was rough
Don’t remember much
Waking up
Courage in my cup
Last night was rough
Doing what I love
Running on fumes
What I can do?
Waiting for my score to come through
Desperate for some motivation
Running on fumes
Checking my views
Scrolling for a comment that proves
I don’t need more motivation
I'm locked in
I'm stocked up
Often
I'm shopping
my face
Is frosted
I'm living life as if I'm already dead
I'm spilling cups and then I’m fucking the fed
I’m locked in
And topped up often
No caution
My pace is toxic
I’m living life as if I’m already dead
Open and shut you know I gave it my best
Was feeling panicked so I bought myself knife
Then I felt empty so I went and got a myself a wife
I tried to learn about the meaning of my life
But I couldn’t quite decide on which good book to buy
Cause I’m like that
Priceless
Finest
Ice white platypus
Blessing the things that I touch
Worship me worship my stuff
Fitted with a gimmick
Make a cynical wow
Many men went in it
But they couldn’t get out
All of the things that we touch
Suck all the life out of us
I’m living life as if I’m already dead
I’m living life as if I’m already dead
Hole in the world
Holding some pearls
Making it tough cause I’m never enough
Hole in the earth
Sleep on my perch
Take some time off to forget what your worth
Never

I'd say paledusk has perfected the genre mashing madness that DGD introduced. So naturally, DGD has been lagging behind the smaller modern bands in terms of creativity but it makes sense since they have a large brand to hold up.

Jon goes stupid around 1:56 and it’s a glorious testament of how he’s grown as a screamer. He’s elevated his game every album and it makes me so happy. One thing I love about this band is they somehow keep a strong familiarity about them while doing new shit and it blows me away every time I listen to them.

@@allusernamesweretaken Man, I've been with DGD since almost the very beginnings, finding them through myspace. This may seem silly, but his passing has hit me pretty hard. He put in much amazing music and even uploaded a few songs showcasing his God given talent so that others could play his beautiful part of this amazing, skilled band. My spouse doesn't understand just how integral he was to the band. No one can replace Tim, regardless if they can hut every not and riff down to a tee. We love and will forever miss you, beautiful Tim. Gosh, I didn't even know he was battling such a severe illness to where he was deteriorating**EDIT- This is speculation on my part, since 34 year olds do not suddenly die unless theres something reqlly wrong with their body**. He was always happy, played on point, seemed to be as healthy as an ox. Excuse my long, pointless comment- I'm pretty much just typing my stream of thoughts. What does this mean for DGD? If they need to call it quits I won't be angry and hold it against them; I hope others can do the same. Heck, they've said that if they were to lose Tilian they'd stop making music. What are they to do now?

I am so proud of Matt Mingus, he went through adversity this year but knew he had to fix it so he pushed through Now he's here playing just as amazing as ever. Instead of being one of those band members who would just have a falling and don't recover to just get kicked out. But not him he pushed through , way to go Matt !!!

I just can't fathom how incredible this band is. They keep producing, over and over again. They keep evolving with every single bit of content they put out. Jon is on another LEVEL and his vocal style has continued to push past boundaries. He's not afraid to try new things and it absolutely works. Tilian meshes so damn well with it and he always sounds amazing. Will has such a unique style and he never ceases to impress, this gives me Chucky x Inspire vibes. Also glad to see Matt is back and stronger than ever!!! I have a BJJ grappling competition this weekend and I feel like I can pop someone's head off after listening to this LOL. Unreal.
