No auto tune, no canned backing tracks, no video wall, no moving head lights, no in-ear monitors, no recallable digital mixing consoles, no big corporate sponsor banners, no line arrays, no digital modelling amps, trap array speakers held together by a tow strap, stage so small there's not even enough room for the singers to be center downstage, and Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) mixing monitors. Just a band doing their thing and owning it. There will never be another time like that in history ever again.

I was lucky enough to see them during this same warped tour in San Diego Ca. This was the only time I got to see them and it left me with a forever lasting Impression of how great women singers in bands were in the '90s, this band would be so huge today.

I saw DHC on this tour in Northampton MA. This was a superior performance to the real good performance I saw!! Better PA and bigger stage on this show, led to a wicked badass performance. Karina's energy level was at an all time high here!

tom dated Karina or was it mark, can't remember. apple shampoo is a song about it.

@@c-dublifeit was Mark. that was a Mark song.
@brianvanbuskirk34928 ай бұрын
@@c-dublifeIt was Mark, but it’s about Elyse, the other singer, not Karina. Mark was asked in an interview what the song title meant, and he said something like ‘well I couldn’t call it Elyse from Dance Hall Crashers’

Who was the better act?
@markmurray6273 Жыл бұрын
@@hellaacapella actually I think Blink played right before.... I liked DHC more but I was super excited to see Carousel live... Which I remember more than the DHC set. Honestly I really don't remember either other than I was shocked the crowd was moshing harder than I thought was necessary for Dance Hall... And not many ppl saw Blink that afternoon...

Being in Fresno during the early 90s was a special time. We all ignored whatever mainstream crap was out there, and made or listened to our own bands that we created.

Thanks a lot for posting. I come back to this set all the time. Hard to say that this was their prime, because they continued to put out good records until their last, but certainly an exciting moment for the band. The first time I actually heard them was on the Warped Tour 96 sampler that I assume came out right before this tour. A band called Red Five also played on this tour. Not sure about this date. You don't happen to have any footage of them, do you?

I saw them last in Victoria BC in the mid 2000's. I don't know what it's like now unfortunately, but Victoria had a thriving Ska scene in the late 90's and late 2000's when I lived there

so cool to see this set. I used to see them all the time at the Capital Ballroom in SE DC during mid 90s. Fun band. Catrina is keyboard player for nofx now, right? Maybe I just made that up.

I had to look this up but this is a fun fact! She is touring with nofx on keyboards... must have been wasted when I saw nofx a few years back because I completely forgot or just didn't notice it was her! 🤣 This girl needs to pay more attention 😅😅
