Omg you just described wooyoungs dance, a classy dancer. His main back ground is hip hop urban dance but he really made his style out of it so early in his career. He recently mentioned that he started dancing in his 14~15 years old, that is not so long to look this good

I think I found the feeling I can't describe before when watching ATEEZ. It's what DonKawaii said where you can feel what the performer is feeling. I think that was the one. Whenever I watch Wooyoung, I just feel confident that I won't be disappointed in having a good time.

@@iamagoodboy5672 performance line includes San and Yeosang, but they list vocal first. They don't label anyone as "main" anything except main vocal Jongho.

San is a lead vocal, but “performance” title was added to his official profile recently.

@@iamagoodboy5672 Some context here. Ateez's official main dancers REMAINS Wooyoung, Yunho and Mingi. However because all of them are such phenomenal dancers the title doesn't mean much to them as a team anymore. San was upgraded to a Main Dancer role for the show Kingdom. But he was officially just a vocalist. All of them are considered a part of the Performance line now so the title is kind of irrelevant. The only role that hasn't changed is that of the Main Vocal who is Jongho and the rappers who are Mingi and Hongjoong. Hope that helps.

Wooyoung has been a great dancer since debut, but he has REALLY stepped up his game since I'd say Inception era. He's so charismatic and smooth, you can see it subtly in every ATEEZ choreo, a good example would be The Real, a song they released on Kingdom. Yunho on the other hand I'd say is still the most technically proficient dancer in ATZ while the rest bring so much raw energy to their dances. Even though I'm fully aware of Woo's dance skills, his AOTM vid amazed me, his expression really emphasised each movement he was doing I had to watch several times lmao.

Ateez has 3 min dancers, Wooyoung, Yunho and Mingi and one lead dancer Yeosang! I dont know if you have reacted to this but actually Choi San has a solo dance (super short but worth it) that was like a preview of the beginning of kingdom, all groups had a member do solo dance for about 30 secs, is the performance film if you are interested!! thank you for appreciating woo, new sub here!

THIS. wooyoung looks like he's just SO into what he's doing that you really cant help but enjoy it right along with him, and i'm so glad he got this chance for a solo!! for the past few months, he had been talking about wanting to change up his style, continually working at it, and occasionally posting mini dance covers (including one where he re-did a cover he performed during predebut in mixnine), and so seeing him do this solo knowing that he had been so dedicated to improve himself in doing something he loves made me feel so indescribably happy and proud of him, and my GOODNESS he didnt disappoint. HOO sorry for the rant, but thank you so much for reacting to this!! you put into words (and facial reactions lol) a lot of the things that i felt while watching it, and i'm really glad you enjoyed it too!! :)

you portrayed it nicely when you said that when you watch someone dance you not only want to see clean moves and that, but that you want to feel something. I think a lot of people who don't understand dancing just wants to see clean moves and idols with a stiff face. But to have an artist actually tell something and portray feelings with their dancing - thats next level.

Also the behind the scenes video was kinda nuts. Wooyoung didn't want to spoil every other members schedules so he and BBTrippin rehearsed from 12am-5am instead. Wooyoung had a lot of say in the choreo as he is close with BBtrippin, who have choreographed for ATZ since debut.
