'Dance Moms' star Chloe Lukasiak gets emotional as she chats with ET's Rachel Smith about the reunion special. The dancer reflects on her 'trauma' from her time on the show, and how the rivalry Abby Lee Miller manufactured between her and Maddie Ziegler impacted her self esteem. Chloe says she and Maddie and still close friends and she is 'like a sister' to her. 'Dance Moms: The Reunion' premieres May 1 on Lifetime.

Jojo has no clue what it felt like to be a normal regular girl that thinks they’re going to be on a docu series and then suddenly becomes famous. And bc the fans loved her the most, her dance teacher starts torturing her and making her life a living hell. Jojo and her mom knew exactly what they were signing up for and were prepared. They could mentally separate that it was all for the show. That was Chloe’s real life dance teacher who turned on her one day.

I did not like the "mom" drama that Lifetime always pushed. Some fake, some real. It was THAT issue that hurt so many of the girls. IF IF you knew some was scripted, like JoJo and her Mom did, maybe it's not so traumatizing. I think the girls reactions were genuine, most of the time. But Maddie is an example of the show meddling for effect, she said some of the "bratty" things she said were from the SHOW, Not her idea.

But I'm mostly proud of Chloe, pagie Brooke tbh there were the hated so we're Jojo but she isn't og so let her wine about her karma to someone else cuz no one cares. Also Nia her music career is going on top she's ten times better then Kendall. Idk why Jill was jealous but trying not to show it. At first Abby thought Kendall music video was going on top heck no. Yes Kendall has lots of views. But Nia has more. My point is Abby should believe in then not put the negative stuff in there head.

@@frauleinmona Kelly got out of the contract because there were lawsuits between her and Abby so them being on the show together wasn't a good idea. Are you really suggesting that the others should have had as big an argument with Abby as Kelly did to get their kids off too. The mums have said that it took them years to realise that the group lawyer they had was provided by production so wasn't looking after their best interests. Christi got out of their contract after what happened at the end of season 4. A part of that was that they still had to do the end of season special and Chloe had to do the Chloe Does It series. Maddie has said that Sia helped them get out of their contract. So sorry but if they needed the extra power that Sia had to help them with the lawyers, negotiating etc it isn't nearly as simple as you are making out.

No one is blaming Lifetime, the Producers, Directors who PUSHES a lot of the perceptions and agendas they wanted, for drama. Show had some manipulated and scripted parts. A lot of real, too. I didn't see it that way. She was ASKED a question and answered sincerely. She did show Chloe positives though. Sitting here, she nodded yes, smiled at chloe, answers and looked respectful. What more do we want?? The show still shows the stuff they want.
